Information You Submit
A name, location, or other query entered into an embedded search tool is sent to the third-party provider operating that tool. We do not store or log those search terms on our own systems. The provider’s policy controls its handling of the query.
If you email us or use a contact method, we retain the message and contact details needed to answer. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement applies.
Technical Data and Cookies
Ordinary page requests can create technical records used to operate and protect the service. Those records may contain:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages viewed and time spent;
- the referring page, when supplied; and
- request dates and timestamps.
Cookies may help measure site use and remember basic preferences. Browser controls can refuse or remove cookies, though some functions may then work differently.
Reasons We Use Data
Collected data supports limited operational purposes:
- keeping pages available and responsive;
- sending a search request to the selected partner;
- learning which content visitors use;
- detecting faults, abuse, and security issues; and
- displaying advertising that may reflect interests.
Privacy Beyond This Site
Links may lead to Oneida or Caribou sheriff pages, VINE, Idaho courts, IDOC, federal locators, and outside search services. Once a visitor leaves, the destination’s privacy terms govern. Some advertising companies may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and select ads. We do not control that tracking.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be handled by search partners processing a query, analytics providers measuring site use, advertising networks delivering ads, or law-enforcement and government bodies acting under a valid legal order.
Security Has Practical Limits
We use standard safeguards suited to the information and service. No website, transmission method, or connected storage system can be promised breach-proof. Visitors should avoid sending sensitive material that is not needed for a request.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may ask that it be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, a person may ask for a copy of personal data we hold, request correction, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. A request must provide enough detail to locate the relevant information and verify the requester’s connection to it.
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this privacy notice as practices or legal requirements change. The updated text and effective date take effect when posted here.
